Matt established Bass Rock and specialises in cost management and decision support. He enjoys providing insight to clients with difficult investment decisions so they can confidently select the best long-term course of action.
DAVE INSLEY

Dave’s expertise is in managing complex equipment procurement, from initially capturing the user’s requirements right through to delivering a new capability to a happy customer. Dave is at the centre of the process making everything work.

Andy is an accomplished Chartered Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the aerospace industry. He specialises in the development of Safety Assessments and Safety Cases for all aspects of aviation systems and operations, with demonstrable experience. He excels in leading multidisciplined stakeholders through a robust, yet tailored Safety Engineering process to achieve a client’s regulatory compliance and support their strategic decision making.

Senior Consultant
Highly skilled in delivering major projects and programmes, Daisy’s adaptability and exceptional communication skills make her a valued member of any team with versatility that is hard to come by. She bridges the gap between technical and non-technical experts and drives everyone to deliver the desired outcome for the customer.
GEORGIA GREGORY

Consultant
Georgia is a versatile safety engineer with experience across various engineering fields, including the aerospace sector. She specialises in developing safety cases, leading workshops, conducting risk assessments, working collaboratively with teams to ensure complex projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in full compliance.
HISTORY
Bass Rock was created in 2010 by Company Director, Matt Perks. Matt had been consulting within the Defence sector for several years before he saw an opportunity to start his own firm, capable of providing expert services to clients with a more focused and personable approach. After a day of thinking up the outlines of a business plan on Salcombe Estuary, Matt sailed in-land towards two buoys, Wolf Rock to the left and Bass Rock to the right. In a moment of clarity, Bass Rock Engineering Management Limited was born.
Since then, Bass Rock has grown steadily and deliberately, ensuring we can reach client demand through provision of people we believe to be experts in their field. Today, we deliver consultancy services across multiple sectors, including Defence and Aerospace, and our experienced consultants are delivering high-quality services across multiple projects and programmes.
